Der Lärm der Stadt und der Lärm in dir, egal ob du 20 warst oder 40 wirst, das ist ViLLA NOiSE. Ein musikalisches Lebensgefühl, das über all die Jahre in dir bleibt und sich immer wieder neu erfindet: schnörkelloser Indie-Rock voller Melancholien, puren Energien, Zweifel und Kraft.

Der Groove und die Melodien rauschen wie das Fahrwasser von Blackmail, Placebo oder Muse. Doch ihr Kurs ist völlig eigenständig – 20 Jahre zwischen Skapunk und Grunge, unterwegs in zahlreichen Bands und Projekten führten zum eingängigen Stil von ViLLA NOiSE: ein Mix aus erwachsener Verlorenheit und urbanem Beat.

I´m fine – throw the sun in the garbage can – while I wait for you again … Auch die Lyrics der Songs pendeln zwischen dem inneren Lärm und milden Blicken auf sich selbst. Sänger und Gitarrist Oliver Rickling schreibt die Skizzen für nahezu alle Songs. Gemeinsam mit Bassist Marius Wendt und Drummer Jan Hammer wachsen sie zu reifen Collagen, ohne die rohe Kraft des ersten Moments dabei zu glätten. Und das bedeutet auch: Der forsche Beat der Stücke ist Bewegung, Tanzbarkeit, nicht nur beim Live-Gig.

Ihr zweites Album ‚conversations on a lonely star‘ erblcikte Ende September 2021 das Licht der Welt. CD und LP gibt es im Dackelton-Shop, die digitale Variante ist auf allen Streaming- und Download-Plattformen zu finden.

The noise of the city and the noise inside you, whether you were 20 or turning 40, that’s ViLLA NOiSE. A musical attitude to life that stays with you all these years and reinvents itself again and again: no-frills indie rock full of melancholy, pure energy, doubt and power.

The groove and the melodies rush like the fairways of Blackmail, Placebo or Muse. But their course is completely their own – 20 years between skapunk and grunge, on the road in numerous bands and projects led to ViLLA NOiSE’s catchy style: a mix of grown-up forlornness and urban beat.

I’m fine – throw the sun in the garbage can – while I wait for you again … The lyrics of the songs also oscillate between inner noise and mild glances at themselves. Singer and guitarist Oliver Rickling writes the sketches for almost all the songs. Together with bassist Marius Wendt and drummer Jan Hammer, they grow into mature collages without smoothing out the raw power of the first moment. And that also means: the brash beat of the pieces is movement, danceability, not only at the live gig.

Their first album ‚Stories‘ was released in August 2018. Besides the mature compositions, it’s singer Olli’s catchy voice that stands out here. With the first single ‚Bliss‘, the band gives us a glimpse of this album that is guaranteed to stay in your ears.
Instead of rushing into self-promotion with their first recordings, the three guys from Cologne have reworked their songs, questioned the quality of quick studio productions and tested their material again and again on stage in between. The effort has paid off, the album neither suggests a German band nor a debut. It is mature and raw, is the noise of the city and the noise inside you.

ViLLA NOiSE have been tinkering with their next album since 2020, for which the first video single „Bubbles“ will be released in February 2021.
